Building Frames is what started the journey for us.
Lee started building frames for his little brother to race cross country on back in 1989. Back then the homemade jig was a bit ropey and the mini fillet welds (that he copied from the motorbike trials frames that his dad made) needed considerable filing for him to be proud of them.
Things have changed quite a bit since then. The experience gained from over ten years of building high end frames has quite an impact on the quality compared with those early efforts. Combine this with a product design degree and five years working for one of this countries premier bike brands and you have a formidable combination of design flair, insider knowledge and manufacturing experiance to call on.
You can be sure that with any Hidden Nation frame you are getting something that has had more than its fair share of loving craftsmanship poured into its creation and a design that sets it apart from the crowd without having to resort to gimmicks.
We are proud of everything we make and we hope that you get as much pleasure riding our frames as we have designing and producing them.
Whether you just want a frame or a complete bike set up we can do whatever you want. Lee was the mechanic for Dylan Clayton and the Pashley team for over four years at home and abroad so you know that it will be set up just right.
Take a look above at some of the frames we have built in the past and see what the magazines had to say about the frames that Lee has designed.
